I like listening to Todd as a guest on other podcasts and when he is calling snowboard events on TV. This though… is unlistenable.

Excellent banter with brahs

These two guys help me get through the mundane drudgery of the every day. Their commentary on contemporary action sports is both relevant and entertaining. I have to say tho, the pod cast would be much better if they were animated penguins. That’s all.

This is a pretty good podcast, although for action sports, but claiming greatest? the Nine Club and Snowboard Project are certainly on a different level . This is snow/skate/surf with the emphasis on surfing - but really tune in just for the surf news.

It’s like sliding into that warm, moist... well you know... for the first time. Biting into it, getting some chocolate chips. I meant chocolate chip pancakes you sickos. But it’s my new fav podcast and all that stuff...

Cote provides decent industry news in a semi regular fashion but clearly rides the bias bus of the wsl and as such neer does he speak a discouraging word about our hapless tour. I dont have a problem as he is an employee, just dont look here for any critical thinking as it relates to professional surfing. I love the rese

Fantastic action sports podcast

Anyone who knows Cote knows he is not only hysterical but has his finger on the pulse of whats going on in the world of Surf, Skate and Snow. He puts in the hours of work so you don't have to and delivers everything your interested in hearing about in under an hour in the funniest way poossible. Start listening or your blowing it!

Been a fan of Chris Cote commentating on the QS events from the WSL, and he certainly makes my daily commute on Mondays worth a while! If you dont have time to watch WSL events and you need an update, this is it. If you are surfer, you will also love the content on skate and snowboard news. I hope someday he becomes a full commentator for the wsl events with dave wassel and alex gray like they did for the fiji event a few years ago.

Having been working in Spain the last month, my mind is beginning to go a little crazy being landlocked. the Monday M.A.S.S. makes me feel not so far from home (San Diego), the water, and everything happening in the surf industry right now. Cote ripens the surf and skate industry with his organic hot takes of the day and I genuinely feel like he's doing this for the plain fun of it all. Listening to it is like this chaos that is similar to surfing, but with an ebb and flow that works, which is so different from other podcasts that are this structured plot every episode. I got so pumped to surf from this, that I impulsively booked a train ticket to Portugal for this weekend where I am staying at a a surf hostel. Super stoked, so thanks Chris. Only one more month and then I will be home, so keep the episodes coming!

Media, and the Monday M.A.S.S. podcast will serve as your gateway to a plethora of radness, not just in action sports (surfing, skating, snowboarding and more), but also in to the Southern California lifestyle. The beauty of the Monday M.A.S.S. podcast rests in Coté's intimate knowledge and close business relationships in the action sports industry. The man isn't just reporting on what he sees on TV and YouTube, he will often report on events he attends and is a correspondent at. His closeness to the action offers a unique perspective that helps the listener feel as though he/she is present. Few, if any, are better qualified to deliver the current and relevant action sports news to the masses. His innate ability to produce a well rounded and concise podcast, covering a wide range of action sports figures and topics is second to none. The Monday M.A.S.S. keeps me up to date with what's going on in action sports and provides an escape from my dull office cubical while I'm at work. Having a constant connection to what's going on with surf, skate and snow is awesome, and Chris delivers every time! I'd love for more interviews with not only action sports figures, but also with people in the music and other entertainment industries who have ties with and/or close interests in action sports. The more perspectives the better! Yew!

Chris is a veteran member of the action sports community and provides honest takes on past, present, and future event within the industry. His delivery is filled with energy and passion that will grab your attention and keep you engaged. The show covers a broad spectrum of topics and plays host to many relevant guests. However, the show lacks many things and personally is a let-down in terms of the potential a podcast like this possess. The production value of the show is heinously low. Having a host and his guests simply speak over a lofi beat for an hour is lackadaisical. To have guests call in via cellphone and air it at such low quality is expected of a high school radio show. Many times it feels like each episode is recorded at the eleventh hour. This often results in unorganized, sporadic jumbling that left me frustrated. Each topic discussed lacks direction and feels poorly improvised. The best recorded live radio shows that air daily put much more forethought into a topic before engaging it. I think the show could benefit from a consistent co-host. Chris brings a lot but more is needed to promote true discussion and dialogue. I could continue but overall I think the show is poorly done. Scraping together a few guests and piggybacking off of other sports outlets headlines won't keep me listening. If you're looking for The Surfers Journal of podcasts, this unfortunately isn't it. Think of it as Tom Green in the movie Grind, except it isn't off the hook. It's time to start putting quality over quantity. Respect.

The above title not only describes how I feel about Monday MASS, but also how imagine Chris himself to be. He's got a unique skill set to make you laugh and keep you plugged into the shred scene. Listen and you, too, can sound cool cutting it up with the boys at the barber shop.

This is the greatest podcast ever. I don't give a crap about surfing, skateboarding, or snowboarding, but I do give a crap about this podcast, I love it.

I've been listening for a while now and checking in every monday to hear the answers to all my action sports questions like... What's this week's BATB spoiler? Will the WSL shorten their waiting period? How many inches are STILL at mammoth? Will Chris ever get to surf Kelly's wave pool? Is it a 720 or a 540? Who is Horacio Spoonbender? oh and did I mention you can occaisonally hear some rad songs in the background? 5 stars all around

Have you ever seen that documentary featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger called "Pumping Iron"? You know the one. Well, remember that part when Arnold talks about the pump? He says, "It's as satisfying to me as cumming is, you know, as in having sex with a woman and cumming. So can you believe how much I am in heaven? I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's one thing when someone mixes great music in the background but when you throw Taylor Steele + surf,skate,snow news in a podcast, it can't get any better. Interesting take on how you feel surf contests should be. Keep up the good work. Yewwwwww

I love this podcast, it's so much better than the "sportscaster" approach of many of these shows. Chris Cote is a unique character with insightful comments and very funny quips. If you like skatboarding, snowboarding, surfing and stuff like that, and you also like getting your news in a colorful, fun way, listen to this. Plus, the background music is always good!
