Havok9123A Truly Entertaining ShowI’ve enjoyed each iteration of hosts, and while Mathew is truly missed, the bantelopes are still going strong. The byplay is excellent, and I truly appreciate the time the hosts take to bring a bit a lighthearted happiness to life.

I. RussThe essence of why I love games - and RPSI’ve been listening to the Electronic Wireless Show for well over a year, and while I certainly miss Matthew (RPS in peace), the new trio of Alice, Nate and James hasn’t missed a beat. The new format is fantastic, the Tower of Jocularity is a worthy successor to the Cavern of Lies, and I actually understand hardware on the strength of numerous metaphors involving cowboys and beans. Just as good as ever, highly recommend. (PS - best podcast music ever.)

aDAMPshirtPretty Dang GoodHave been reading RPS for a long time now and decided to give this pod a listen. Highly recommend. Great accents with great content.

Duty 4.2Top Shelf StuffThis podcast has dramatically improved my life. I’m sleeping better, losing those extra 10 pounds my physician keeps reminding me of, and I momentarily lose a certain sense of dread that erupts when I think about Shrek possibly entering my home and violently smacking me into an early grave unless a space fascist has been given room and board next to my refrigerator: all from one delightful podcast! In seriousness, I started reading RPS only 8 months ago. When it finally hit that I should check if they had a podcast, it was the penultimate of season 1. While I’m always for a format break, the current era is quite good. The hosts are funny, knowledgeable, and the banter is delicious. Stay awhile and listen.

cate578543346Cozy listeningI started listening to the EWS during Covid and found the banter and conversations between the hosts very soothing and endearing. I typically put on this podcast while playing a cozy video game, such as Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley for the ultimate cozy listening experience. It has turned into one of the highlights of my week!

libvirtConstantly encouraging the use of data harvestersBeing influencers, please understand how nefarious Google and it’s targeting and tracking everyone is for society and stop constantly promoting Googling and YouTube like it’s some benevolent public resource. We need less misinformed or indifferent people making internet content that don’t care about privacy or a dystopian future.

mattbiernerSelf indulgent in the best possible wayI started listening to the EWS in 2020 during Covid and it quickly grew into the highlight of my podcasting week. Episodes often take 10 minutes (or more) to get to the topic at hand, and after that quickly spiral into digressions to digressions, personal anecdotes involving teeth and aquariums, and deep cuts into bizarre podcast lore. Yet somehow this all comes together into a tremendously entertaining hour that captures much of what I love about gaming as a hobby. It’s a wonderful break from normal gamer culture. The older episodes are good too but the current crew of Alice, Matthew, and Nate make this podcast truly exceptional. Thank you!

onefrank“Well good then there’s going to be a lot of nonsense in this episode”Of all the podcasts I listen to, this is the podcast I am the most excited for each week. Alice, Nate and Matt are a brilliant trio and the intro/sting music is wonderful.

RockvillianBest gaming podcast about foodIt’s just the best podcast full of bright folks, belly laughs, and the occasional gaming related discussion that normally careens into delightfully inane yet devilishly entertaining topics.

InsideVoice... the only Podcast you really needAlice, Nate and Matthew are delightful and the mood is just jolly for a podcast. I have enjoyed many hours listening to them during my long commute to work and back. Keep up the great work.

Frost RavenFantasticI’m a simple American with basic sensibilities and I find the unapologetic British banter endlessly charming and endearing. I discovered the RPS channel through their absolutely epic almost-two year long let’s play of Divinity OS2. Matthew and Alice Ligouri are hilarious video hosts and there’s something like 81 hours of excellent entertainment to watch - highly recommend. This podcast is right in that wheelhouse: a really laidback vibe like sitting around with friends having a drink and a good conversation. And that music? I don’t know if it’s original or not but it’s so good, it sets the mood and adds to that British charm. Alice Bell is a great host, Matthew is excellent as always and Nate should be featured in other things a lot more as well. Incredibly funny! Look for the episode where he delivers Witcher 3 lines and the crew has to guess if they’re real or fake. Just a great podcast all around. Keep up the great work!

lightswitch11I like it quite a bitTypically entertaining. Matches the oddball irreverent humor style of the website.

thom bjorkAcclaimed games writing outlet with an admirably harried-feeling podcastWith an assortment of hosts and co-hosts, the show tunnels into and around central topics (like romances in games or memorable rats). Hosts/writers are rich in articulation. Genre and platform preferences abound. Mostly they have fun. Sometimes friends get hurt, but nobody dies.

AlexdaTokeVillainOne of, if not the funniest gaming podcast out thereThere are few gaming podcasts that make me laugh as often as this podcast does. The focus is on the games of course, but the stories they tell about the games they play are almost always hilarious, and there is great chemistry between all the people involved with this pod. The music is also great of course, and I'm a fan of the very poorly-organized skits that they occasionally do. Really surprised to see this with not even 15 reviews, it's a great podcast and highly recommended.
-
nullwardGreat gaming podcastA relaxed and highly entertaining gaming variety podcast. Great banter between RPS's writers, whose particular brand of british humor I have long enjoyed reading but never listened to. And the music... there's something really warm about those transitions, especially that clarinet... or is it an oboe? May it continue long into the future!
-
Joe_H_67That music ...Not that I don't enjoy the conversations (because I very much do), but that music! I want to just take it home and curl up with it ...
