    Never too late to start
As an aging woman, I am now listening to my first podcast at 68. Wanted to listen to a friend whom I admire, respect and is a man of God. His information in this episode is life changing for me. Never to late to learn. If used, and even realized, (we already have systems and habits, learning to combine them is key) voila! A must listen.

Thank you God for directing me to Jay!
Trying to make good use of my 45 min commute pre-Covid in fall of 2019, I literally asked Siri to search for a podcast on Christian parenting as I was driving home one evening. She found Let’s Parent on Purpose with Jay Holland and I listened with a critical ear but I knew after the first show that I had found a winner!! Wow! I’ve been a follower since that day. I’ve emailed Jay a few times, never knowing if he would respond as he has such a strong following. TRUTH: He responds every time with wisdom and encouragement!! This guy is one of a kind. Refreshing voice of reality amidst the often sunshine and no rain Christian speakers / teachers. He’s honest and genuine and shares his lowest lows and how God brought him through. Thank you Jay for walking honestly with Jesus and for sharing with us your community so generously.

    My go-to
I appreciate this podcast so much. I started listening about two weeks ago. It has helped me change MY attitude and MY approach with my daughter who is a preteen. These helpful tips have allowed my daughter to feel like she has a safe place to be super open again ( for a while my bitterness on life affected hers) this also has helped me realize how important it is to have healthy adults in her life and so I’m making the choice to take us back to Sunday services and youth group. Thank you Jay

    Still love your podcast!
Jay, I’ve been listening since your very first podcast. I just wanted to share how thankful and appreciative we are that you’re still gracing our hearts, minds, and spirit with your podcast. Continuing this endeavor while your son is going through cancer treatment is a testimony of your commitment to spreading Gods word. We appreciate YOU and we NEED you to continue doing what you’re doing. Thank you Jay! Rob and Jenna U.

    Much needed
Haven’t been to church regularly since Covid started, but this podcast has helped rocket me into encouragement & strategies on how to be a better father and husband to my family. I love my morning quiet times sifting through every episode I can find, looking for encouragement and scripture based strategies.

    Inspiring
I’ve been listening about a year & I love this podcast.. it speaks inspirational truth!

    Shocked and disappointed
I’ve been listening to this podcast for half a year now and have enjoyed the perspective offered in the episodes, until I listened to “Sex, marriage killer or killer marriage.” There was so much poor, unsubstantiated advice given and I am honestly so appalled that I will no longer be listening to this podcast. To list just a *few* of the issues in this episode: it was recommended that parents never ever let their baby or babies sleep in their bed or in their room, and that is absolutely horrific, selfish advice. It has been scientifically proven that cosleeping and safe bed sharing practices are incredibly beneficial for both the baby and the mother on a physical level and deep emotional and psychological level. That comment clearly showed that the hosts favor the husband and care less for the well being of the wife and child. This comment also suggested that sex cannot be had any other place then the “marriage bed”. That’s preposterous. Sex is fun and can be had ANYWHERE in the home when the children are asleep, it can be satisfying and exciting without being stuck to the bed. If you have to rely on your empty “marriage bed” for good sex then perhaps couples need to be more creative instead of kicking their helpless infants into a bedroom alone. Another comment was made suggesting that it’s impossible that the wife will orgasm every time intercourse is had and that again is outrageous and prioritizing only the husband. Women CAN orgasm EVERY single time IF she is treated right and her body is shown the attention she deserves!!! If the husband is only trying to get his rocks off and can not be selfless to ensure his wife also is satisfied, that is the issue. I’m absolutely mind blown and disgusted by this episode. All I heard repeatedly was “the husband’s sex needs are a priority” and I’m out. You lost a listener.

    Encouraging advice
Jay’s podcast is an amazing resource for parents who are trying to raise children in this crazy world. Many episodes have authentic conversations that covers a wide range of difficult situations. It’s also helpful and encouraging to listen to other parents perspectives. To know that I am not alone with my struggles eases my heart and also reminds me that this is in Gods hands. I recommend this podcast to any parent, caregiver, or adult who is either raising children or dealing with children on a regular basis. Thank you Jay for providing this meaningful and helpful resource!

Spot on parenting advice every listen
I’m a homeschooling Mom of two boys and always looking for God focus parenting support. Sometimes is shocks me when I turn on a new episode how perfectly God has guided a lesson that is exactly what I need in that moment. I listen often after my Bible time when I put my kids in bed at night. Many nights I find myself in tears as Jay prays and I pray with him. I know God has given me multiple tools help my boys be the Men God plans for them to be thru you lesson and I am thankful.

    Relevant and helpful
I stated listening to LPOP last year during my commute to work and found it very engaging. Jay’s topics and people he invites are relevant and helps me to think and seek purposeful parenting. He also addresses current events and issues that helps me to see parenting from God’s point of view and not get caught up in all the craziness of do’s and don’ts. I forwarded many episodes to my friends because i thought they would find it helpful also. I appreciate Jay’s personal testimonies of his own struggles, his sense of humor, and his insights.

I love this podcast and how Jay helps parents with Biblical parenting in practical ways. I grew up in Church, but sometimes practical application is hard. Thank you!
I'm so thankful that I found your podcast! I am a 48 year old mom to 4 and my husband (52) and I have just become licensed foster parents (prayerfully awaiting our first placement). I came to Christ at 30 and my husband some years after me. We approached parenting like we did many other things - unintentionally. With our 1st two children (now 23 and 26), we listened to and followed much of what the world said. God blessed a little later in life with two more children (ages 10 and 15). We often say they are our "second chance" at this parenting thing. Your podcasts has been so practically helpful for some real life parenting issues. Thank you for the hard work, prayers, and love for others that goes into creating such quality content! The Let's Parent on Purpose podcast has blessed me greatly! Be encouraged that what you are doing is a worthy work and it is equipping even the more "mature" moms and dads out there!

I’ve been looking for some real parenting advice, and I’m so grateful to have found this podcast! As a parent with a special needs child, twins, and a foster child, I was looking for solid, Biblical, truthful, joyful parenting direction. I appreciate the truthfulness and realness (not fluffy, feel good nonsense), but also the focus on the importance, joy, and privilege of parenting! THANK YOU for making this podcast!

    So Encouraging!
I’ve only listened to 2 podcasts so far, but I’m already feeling so uplifted! Last summer was very stressful for me. I have four children and we followed no routine. I want this summer to be completely different. I realize in order for it to be that way I need to plan ahead. I came across this podcast about setting goals and now I’m so excited! I started brainstorming about making my little ones age 6 and eight a summer workbook. I can’t wait to put it together! Thank you so much for this podcast!
