I love this podcast and really want to give it a 5 star but there’s just one issue I have with it. I think it’s amazing that they discuss books with a lot of depth and thought so much that they have gotten me to read some titles I never would have read before. I thank them for that; however, the opposite is also true. They will continue to read and criticize to death (and then some) some titles. Why they still read and complain about Zdarsky Batman week after week after week is beyond me. It is absolutely infuriating. You don’t like it. Move on. Stop reading it. You’re doing no one any favors by constantly complaining . The internet is full of that already. The same thing with some other titles. Zdarksy Batman just happens to the be the one most commonly complained about lately. Focus on titles you enjoy and continue to get listeners into comics. That’s why I stick around. Complaining constantly just makes me dread something that’s supposed to be enjoyable.

I come for the sales figures talk, I stay for the comics review.

DC Rebirth got me to read comics again, and it also prompted Matt, Connor, and Peter to talk each week about the books, events, and news related to DC Comics. They’re fun to listen to. You can tell they love the DC mythos.

As somebody who got tired of every comic book podcast talking about movies and TV I found this one finally has something more unique to say.

I had never read comics prior to last year's DC Rebirth. Knowing that comics can be a little hard to get into, I felt that it was the perfect time. Peter, Matt, and Connor are extremely knowledgable about DC comics and DC history and it is a great time to hear them nerd out about the week's books. Despite being huge DC lovers, they do a great job of calling it like they see it and will let you know what they don't like. But, with the excellent stories of Rebirth, the quality universe progression, and the inside jokes, the Podcast has a great, fun vibe to it.

I've been looking for a great DC Comics podcast to listen to ever since DCR ended and I have finally found it! The Weird Science DC show is good but ultimately much too long for me. This show has incredibly likable hosts who seem to have fun talking DC. Most of the comic book podcasts I have tried to listen to tend to lean toward Marvel and rarely, if ever, discuss DC. I read a variety of comics from a variety of publishers but sometimes I like to listen to more in depth analysis of my favorite superhero publisher and that's what this show has to offer. I highly recommend for anyone who likes comics but especially if you're a DC fan.
