    Wonderful podcast
I am in my late 70's and have returned to learning latin, which I took for 2 years in high school and hated every minute of. I didn't get off to a good start and never caught up. Because I have learned several languages after that with great pleasure, I was curious to go back and see why Latin had caused me such grief. Quomodo Dicitur has been a god-send.-I love the cast and their conversations. They are funny but ever so interesting. In the beginning, I couldn't understand a word, but with repetition and looking up words when I catch them, I have gotten so I understand a lot. It is such a great way to learn or reinforce what I have been studying in the grammar books. I can't recommend it highlty enough!

    Truly Excellent Resource
Relevant context: Busy adult learning latin for pleasure (from scratch) As a curious youth, I chaffed at traditional language pedagogy in America (I studied Spanish), which resulted in failed efforts of enthusiasm and execution. However, thanks to this podcast, I have rediscovered my zest for languages, and have made significant progress in Latin using the "living" method. The conversational format of the podcast is perfect for fitting in listening during other activies (driving, walking, cooking), and the hosts do a wonderful job ensuring the main topic is accessible and well definied for listeners of all comprehension levels. Listening has improved my vocab, painlessly reinforced grammar, and has even inspired me to express myself in Latin on occasion. Every Monday when the new show is released, I listen in full on my drive to work. In addition, through peer recommendations at the beginning of certain episodes, I have discovered a treasure trove of additional "living Latin" resources from all over the world: a tremedous asset to someone new to the language. To Jason, Gus, and Justin: Thank you from the bottom of my soul for you work. -Brandonus Minnesotensis

    Excellent Resource for Improving Latin
I love listening to Quomodo Dicitur. It's been really useful to me as a Latin teacher looking for high-quality listening practice and just as useful to my wife, who's learning Latin for the first time.

    Colloquia delectabilia et optatissima
Quaque septimana, die Martis, studiis perfectis, memini novum colloquium Quomodo Dicitur adesse debere et, si tempus licet, statim audio. Valde iocosa colloquia saepe sunt (iocosiora saltem Nuntiis Finnicis), necnon semper facilia audiendo (faciliora saltem Latinitio). Si vis linguam Latinam bene elocutam audire, nihil melius lepidiusque inveniri potest quam Quomodo Dicitur.

    This is Gold
This podcast is gold for any teacher, learner, or lover of Latin. The conversations are witty, interesting, and comprehensible - and the speakers do a good job of re-iterating and explaining more obscure words and references that come up. These three always bring a smile to my face, and very frequently have me laughing out loud. As a teacher, this kind of auditory input is really valuable, and an easy way to keep improving my own Latin. I regularly listen to it while folding laundry or doing dishes, and always wish I had more to listen to - household chores have never been so fun!

    Raeda in fossa adhearet!
As both a student and teacher of Latin, I have found Quomodo Dicitur's weekly conversations to be inspiring, useful, and hilarious. If you have any interest in improving your Latin, carve out twenty minutes a week to listen to these three friends have a casual conversation about topics ancient to contemporary. It's an easy way to add a significant Latin experience to your week and almost always inspires something to bring up with students in class. This podcast is a generous and significant contribution to the field. One last reason to listen: Quis a voce Iasonis barytona non delectatur?

    Quinque Sidera
I am sixty years old. QD is a great resource to help me brush off my rusty bits and to improve my Latin comprehension. I set the podcast playback at 80% speed that matches my ability and listen while on my daily walk. There are times they have me laughing out loud. I look forward to these discussions every week. Why didn't they teach Latin this way 40 years ago? Highly recommended!

    Tantum Latine, Tantum Cool
This podcast is completely in Latin. But not just any Latin. It's in hot-rocking, flame-throwing, full frontal Latin. Enjoy! It's basically the best Latin podcast out there, si ipse dicam...
