JlynnmurphLove this podNot many fringe podcasts but this one is my favorite. These guys are great! Still holds up even though it is several years after. A delightful accompaniment to my current Fringe rewatch. Love Dan & Chris

Kealnt777Fringe WatchingJust picked up the show on Vudu (Score) for $15, and although I’ve seen it before I wanted to see it again. The show is weird and fun, a lot like X-Files. Found this fun podcast to help dig deeper into the depth of each show. These guys seem to be fun, love the podcast premise and chemistry as well. This is a deep show about the depths a parent will go to for their children.

emilyasperGreat way to experience FringeWhile this ended earlier this year, I only found it a couple weeks ago when I decided to do a rewatch. Finding that I was breezing through the series I wanted something more and happened to see it mentioned on old reddit threads. I would highly recommend the podcast to anyone going through a rewatch or even a first run. As aspiring screenwriters, Dan and Chris offer a unique perspective on how well the episodes are put together that I mostly found very interesting. I was always curious how they would process certain episodes. I enjoyed listening to them break down specific scenes between Walter/Peter and Peter/Olivia. They catch the nuances that the actors brought to the roles. And the podcast really soared during this analysis. The second half of season 3 was a bit tough to listen to as they found lots of inconsistencies in the plot that they broke down in detail. To be far, the whole soul magnets arc is a rough sequence of events that I can’t really justify. I do wish sometimes that they could step back and maybe enjoy the ride a little more, but to each their own. They do miss some connections, but also explain in the first episode that this isn’t a research based podcast. They discuss the episode and try to fill in the connections to the best of their memories. But that didn’t stop me from yelling at my phone when they missed these connections. Overall, it is a great podcast. Be ready for some tangents. Stories about their girlfriends (who appear to be saints). There will be connections to other shows and just some plain rants about other shows. Chris’ quote of the week songs are a highlight, especially in the finale episode. I know far to much about Chris’ showering habits and what the bathrooms looked like in their previous flat but their stories are hilariously told. But mostly, it made me think about and experience Fringe in a different way and I really appreciate that. It’s not often that new insight and content can be found about one of my favorite show 5.5 years after it finished and I was genuinely sad when it was done. Thanks Dan and Chris!!

Not a happy gamer!!!The best way to rewatch your favorite showThese two give a unique perspective on a great show, with one host already a fan and rewatching and the other with fresh eyes. Listening to them makes you want to find the episodes and rewatch along with them, I highly recommend this podcast to any fringe fan and these two host to any TV fans.

MillenniOldFrom the creators of Nothing But Static...I was looking for a show to rewatch when I thought, you know what would be perfect? Fringe. Not only has it been a while since I've seen it but since the guys behind Nothing But Static have been doing a podcast about the show for a little while, I figured it would be perfect. So now I've put aside my Stargate rewatch and been watching a few episodes of Fringe, listening to a few episodes of the podcast and repeating. Dan & Chris have the perfect dynamic that reminds me of other great podcasts like Cast of Kings. That podcast has the dynamic of one host having read all of the Game of Thrones books and the other who is just watching the show. In this case, one host has watched all of Fringe whilst the other is watching for the first time. It's perfect and Dan manages not to spoil anything for Chris. He even finds ways to interact with Chris when he's talking about theories without revealing any future plot developments. Finally, I think I'm a horrible person because I really enjoy Dan's frustration with Chris' insistence that they do the quote of the week segment a certain way. Which shouldn't surprise me. It was the same way with another famous segment from their other show(see NBS for more info on that). They should do more of both. :p

standard_nerdGetting my Fringe fixI discovered this podcast only recently, while mourning the fact that Netflix and Amazon had both dropped the show. I love it, irrelevant tangets notwithstanding. Thanks, guys!
