Code: RO1932 Free rideLaw School =/ Reality of Running a Law FirmI love the honest and openly shared insights on the realities of what law school doesn't teach you about running a successful practice. This show has been a beacon, highlighting that while law school may not cover it, the skill of running a law practice can indeed be learned!

Stevo35532Great podcast - anyone going solo should listenFound this podcast the other day before the gym and definitely hooked. Interesting questions and guests, learn about different technology, and hear more about the future of the solo practice. Would love to hear more from attorneys who have completely virtual practices.

rukyoftheyearThank You for this Podcast! This podcast gave me to tools I needed as I pivoted into my solo law practice. Coming from big law, I didn't know what I didn't know about hitting thr ground running in this space. But from this podcast, I was introduced to the giants in this space. From Allison Williams of Law Firm Mentor to Kimberly Bennett of the Modern Legal Collective, I was able to learn about the best practices in navigating this space. I was able to approach this space with a lot more clarity because of Neil's podcast. Thank you so much. For your podcast, I am forever grateful.

Jpatton1234Neil Tyra is answering the questions we all wanted in law school. The Law Entrepreneur is a must-listen podcast for any attorney wanting to start and grow their own practice. He takes the time to get to know each and every one of his guests and how they can best help attorneys building their own businesses. Having been on the show, he’s one of the best interviewers I’ve worked with.
-
JWBLAWGreat Resource for SolosI really like the fact that Neil and his guests discuss relevant topics in plain English, not tech-speak. I encourage any solo practitioner to subscribe.
-
MitchLawExcellent! As someone with no innate interest in the business part of having my own law firm, I have found your podcast to be unbelievably useful in keeping me on track. Thanks

TaptaptapdingInspiring business skills every lawyer should have. This is a fantastic podcast for the solo or small firm lawyer. Not only does The Law Entrepreneur provide much needed business insight for the practicing lawyer, it does it in easily digestible podcast nuggets. How many times have you said that you want to focus on the business of your practice but you don’t have time? You have no excuse now! Great job!
-
Law Office of Ross W. AlbersA free lesson on how to start a law firmWhen I first went out on my own I listened to a podcast where another attorney describe his journey from solo attorney to law firm. It was motivating to hear that other attorneys faced similar struggles as their practice grew. The Law Entrepreneur is the law school class that wasn't offered on how to start a law business. The best part is you don't have to do into more student loan debt to get this knowledge.
-
7bradyVery helpfulGreat broad overview of business-related issues for small firms, including efficiency, systems, technology, goal setting, communications and marketing.
-
Eloise FWide variety of advice for the solo lawyerGlad to have found this podcast; lots of great advice on all aspects of running my firm, not limited to only tech or marketing or admin, but all of these, and more. Keep up the good work Neil!
-
Ace AttyGreat resource for small firm attorneys!Neil Tyra's Law Entrepreneur podcast is outstanding. He focuses on making sure that our businesses meet our financial goals and provide the type of lifestyle we deserve. The guests are great. The tools and tips are practical. I recommend this podcast to any small firm lawyer looking to improve your practice.
-
wall_walkerFantastic Legal PodcastLaw school does not teach us how to run a small or solo practice or how to even run a business. These are things that many attorneys struggle with. The evolving legal market makes this information crucial and Neil works to share his experience along with great guests who have been down this same path. I have gone through the archives and listened to almost every episode. I love it!
-
mansourlawDown to earth and helpfulReally enjoying Neil's podcast. He brings a sense of candor and transparency to the show. The show is helpful and down-to-earth. Instead of talking down to its audience, Neil and his guests talk to the audience in a very conversational fashion. You feel like you were going through the journey with Neil which is probably the point of the podcast. Thank you very much and I look forward to listening to the show. Learning a lot. - Robert Mansour
-
GlobalMac ITPacked with tons of values and insights that all Solo and small firm attorneys should hear!I am not an attorney, but I spend my life serving them as my clients and all of them are in smaller firms (as small as 3-4 total staff upwards to 50). This podcast series is tremendously insightful and provides a lot of great business-minded ideas that everyone either working as a solo or in a small firm should listen to. Great recommendations for solutions which most may not be familiar with, as well as just learning from other attorney’s stories and experiences. If you don’t feel as confident as you would like handling the business side of your firm, listen to a few of these. I promise you’ll gleam great ideas that you can take away and implement in your practice. Final note: this is one of the rare few podcasts that are so valuable that I actually went back to the beginning and listened to ALL of them to catch up!
-
Alg85444Helpful!Did not know what to expect, but I’m glad Neil does a long form with solos and other practitioners. As a solo, sometimes its hard to decide if my fears/concerns/pains are the same as everyone else or if I am alone. Neil’s podcast is a good resource for any autodidacts who are looking for more resources and support about being a solo.
-
TheimpactmikeA must listenI'm so grateful that Neil is running this podcast! Such a wealth of information for entrepreneurs and small businesses! Thank you!
-
charlotte chrGreat InformationI highly recommend this podcast. Always brings value to my practice. Love this one. Thanks for your time, Neil Tyra.
-
FreddieKruegerGreat resourceThis is my second attempt at leaving a review - hopefully this works. This is a great resource for us solo practitioners. The guests are good; and I especially enjoyed podcast no. 10 in which Neil talked about his background. I listen to podcasts, and often wonder why that guy thinks he can tell me anything — but Neil “let us in” a bit and told us how he got where he is. Quickly turning into one of my favorite podcasts!
-
