I’ve made it my goal this year (and every year after) to read the entire Bible. I needed to do a better job locking God’s word in my heart. However, I don’t always have a time to sit down and do the daily reading. This format is perfect to keep me on track. I love the simplicity of the format. I enjoy the prayer at the end. And the ability to download multiple chapters all at once and then listen to them while I’m commuting or on a plane has been perfect. thank you so much for doing this! The reader’s voice (John) has a richness to it which makes listening truly enjoyable.

This is an excellent way to hear the word of the Lord and build a spiritual relationship with the Lord. You wont stop once you start hearing the word. Start the podcast from any point.

This is my attempt to “read” the whole Bible after realizing I don’t have enough time or patience to read the paper Bible as often as I can listen to podcast which allows me to multitask. Pastor John’s prayer at the end helps me understand the chapter better because he sort of summarizes the key message so I find it helpful since I’m reading a lot of the scriptures for the first time. The length of just a few minutes a chapter makes it very easy to do this daily whenever you find a moment so thank you for making this an option so I can deepen my faith.

I have for the past two years enjoyed Pastor John through the scripture. However, as a of lately there has been an ad placed just before the prayer that seems out of place. It is an ad for Young and Professional, and the nature of this ad is in direct opposition to the scriptures. So it is starting to hamper the fact this podcast is just straight scripture.

Sitting at the table for breakfast, my children and I often listen to an episode. The expression of your voice and modern translations of the Bible are helpful. I also appreciate the way your closing prayers reflect the passage. The Audio Bible is an enjoyable way to learn God’s Word.

Your reading brings the text alive. I look forward to closing my day meditating on what I hear.

…you’ll be amazed at how much of the Bible you can be exposed to with just one chapter per day. I’m a busy mom of four, and one chapter a day is all I can manage. Sometime I even listen while I’m brushing my teeth and bouncing a baby on my hip. I think John’s voice enhances the text rather than distracts from it (I can’t stand some narrators!). Have been listening for a whole year and I am so thankful. You can always stop at the end of the chapter if you don’t care for his prayer/commentary, but I usually enjoy it.

This is my go-to podcast, along with John’s other podcast Daily Devotions, I listen to both every day. A great way to start the day off in such an encouraging way. Pastor John has an amazing voice. I thoroughly enjoy listening to him go chapter to chapter. Another detail that I find helpful is the switching up of the bible versions. Here's my takeaway. I've made excuses for years on why I haven't read through the entire Bible in a year or two. Now I have no excuse and neither do YOU! Do it! Listen to 3 episodes per day and you'll have the whole Bible read in a year!

It’s so hard during the chaotic busy day of a working mom time prioritize scripture. It seems I can always make excuses about lack of time, noisy home, or tomorrow is a new day. John Stange brings you a daily audio scripture that will make it impossible to have excuses surrounding scripture exercises. I now, listen to this nightly as I lay in bed and sometimes even listen to it through the night as I sleep. You need this in your life. We all do. 🐝

I LOVE this podcast. I listen to a chapter on my way to work every morning and it is the best thing for my routine. The audio is clear and not boring at all. The translation is understandable and doesn’t sound inaccurate. I really appreciate the prayer at the end to guide how even the most mundane of chapters apply to our spiritual lives and walks with Christ. This podcast is unbiased and seeks only to bring you closer to God through hearing His word. Very thankful for this podcast.

Enjoy so many things about this podcast! 1.) John’s prayer at the end of each chapter. Regardless of how insignificant a passage may seem, during the prayer he discusses what we learned from that passage and asks/thanks God for how it applies to our daily life. 2,) easy to understand version 3.) consecutive reading. When I’ve tried to read the Old Testament myself it’s easy to skip over long drawn out passages about lineage with names I can’t pronounce and long drawn out details explaining the material used to build this or that... however the relevance John is able to tie in at the end of each passage shows me that those chapters are important, they’re in the Bible for a reason. Thank you for reading to me a chapter a day this past year! You’ve made a tremendous impact in my life 💗
