I don’t even know where to begin to recommend this podcast! I came across it by chance and now can’t get enough. The discussions are insightful, interesting and hilarious. I love that they also discuss movies that aren’t as mainstream as others. I look forward to seeing what these guys will talk about each week. Love horror movies? You’ll love these guys!

This has grown to be my favorite podcast. I love the chemistry between Todd and Craig. They’re both smart, articulate, and without ego. They’re not overly critical of the films, but even the real lousy ones make for good, fun episodes. I love when they accidentally encounter a “so bad, it’s good” movie and when Todd tortures Craig with giallo flicks. My only criticism is that they’ve started having guests on, which waters down the chemistry between them. Otherwise, keep up the good work guys. You’ve literally given me 100s of hours of enjoyment.

I’ve listened for years and it was one of my favorites for a long time, but recently it seems like one of the hosts has just been skewing more and more negative. It seems like unless it’s one of his favorite movies, one host will seem personally attacked by the movie and dig his heels in and talk over the other host, sighing or laughing every at every counter point. The other host seems to give everything a chance and comes at the podcast with an even, calm stance on everything. Guess which one dominates the conversation. Still, the older episodes are great and hopefully they are just in a slump or something.

This show is anything but boring. Todd and Craig bring everything to this show. The editing is very professional and is done very well. The content is never dull! One of my favorite things about this show is that they never stray from the topic. If they do it’s never far and is always related to the topic at hand. I think they give very fair reviews. They always give movies a chance and that’s a real plus. If they don’t like a movie they give reasons why and in a professional manner. Some of my favorite episodes are bad movies they review because it makes for a very fun conversation. If you’ve never checked out 2 guys and a chainsaw do yourself a favor and go listen. I really enjoy this show - I always watch the movie first and afterward love hearing their thoughts and interpretations of the film. Even if I don't agree with their opinions of the film, they're so easy to listen to and their perspectives are always interesting!

My favorite podcast of all time. These 2 guys crack me up throughout each podcast and definitely do their homework when it comes to reviewing horror movies. They have recorded over 350 podcasts and I often listen to some of my favorites over and over because they are so good. Thanks guys!

Podcast is decent, but...What's with the unnecessary overly hysterical laughing? And the loud gasps for air while speaking? Couldn't imagine these guys doing a podcast with Werewolf Ambulance - it would be an hour of just laughing at nothing.

My new fav podcast. Easy to listen to. Both guys have fun chatting with each other and not all the extra bander of off topics conversation. To many podcast spend more than half of show chatting about topics not related to movie they are reviewing. Love a show that concentrates mainly on the movie. It’s why I tune in! Can’t stand podcasts where supposed “horror fans” just rip apart horror movies for the smallest details with a pretentious attitude. As horror fans, we know these movies will not win an Oscar any time soon, but we don’t need the movies we love nit-picked! Really enjoy that these guys have a lot of positive energy about the movies they review and give fair criticism where it’s appropriate. Keep it up guys! Favorite horror podcast by far.

On the surface…the show can be fun. Unfortunately when you apply liberal politics of today to movies made 40 years ago…it gets old. If the politics were left at home and reviewed the movies at hand; much much better show.

I think the hosts fail to realize the enormous tragedy of pedophilia and sexual abuse. The effects on the abused are long lasting and can ignite a continuing cycle of abuse by the abused. Serving time is one thing. However, what was done for the 12 year old who was abused? We have to misguided “separate the art from the artist “ attitude that somehow places “art” above people. People create art. Not the other way around.

I really enjoy this podcast. They like horror movies, but don’t take themselves so seriously. Some other podcasts spend horrors on every detail such as music etc. I love their humor and the fact that this is basically a fun movie review discussion between two buddies. I listen often.

2 Guys and a Chainsaw is one of my very favorite pods! Todd & Craig have great chemistry, and the bring the perfect blend of knowledge & fun to every movie they discuss. I also can't get enough of the laughs anytime something really tickles them, and usually end up laughing right out loud along with them! Highly recommend for a fun listen!

I can’t recommend this podcast enough. I haven’t seen a lot of these films but they do such a great job reviewing it feels like I have after listening. The episodes are also concise and around an hour. I can also tell that they are true horror movie fans at heart, which makes everything much more authentic. Keep the new episodes coming!

Y’all should binge- watch every slasher series. Friday the thirteenth, Halloween, A nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, etc. I am a huge fan of these movies. I want to see what these two awesome hosts think about These.

The hosts have great chemistry and it’s great to hear them talk in depth about horror movies.

I’ve listened to quite a few horror podcasts but this is definitely one of my favorites. I love that episodes are usually about an hour long or longer and that they cover one movie at a time. I like movie reviews that follow like a wiki plot summary- I want to basically “rewatch” the movie with them while they discuss all the little details along the way. It checks all of my boxes and i was so excited to see how many episodes there already were and that they were still releasing new ones!! :)

This podcast is fantastic. I stumbled upon it looking for “The Fly” material. Truly glad I did. The hosts have awesome chemistry.

These guys are the absolute best! Witty, insightful, giggly, and above all entertaining. Their friendship comes through while analyzing/critiquing “bad” horror movies. A joy to listen to them make each other laugh and even change opinions using thoughtful arguments and discussion. A delight!

5 stars bc I appreciate any horror podcast and I love the school teacher guy but other guy seems so snobby. The slow ha ha he he he laugh as he rips on every 80s horror. Of you are such a horror fan then why have a horror podcast to always laugh at and ridicule All negative. I’m trying to find something positive bc obviously your listeners that seek out horror podcasts are fans so always ripping on the movies doesn’t really mesh. He he haha in snooty laugh like he made some better movie himself. God what a deeeb. Although he did like return living dead but just the overall criticism of everything. You must have a real fun life with that outlook. If you don’t have fun watching horror then stop watching dork

This is the first horror movie podcast that I have found that is by 2 well spoken hosts that do not feel the need to make it slapstick and/or drop F bombs every other sentence. The hosts still have a good time and joke around, but it is not over the top. They cover a wide range of horror movies and cover the entire movie, which appeals to me because it is like listening to a story. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this podcast. I love the banter between Craig and Todd, and I love how even if they disagree they’re still respectful of each other about it. It just feels like hanging out with two friends talking about movies.

These guys have a good time discussing movies all fans of horror adore. That’s what makes the show great. They are enjoying what they are doing and it comes through and thereby you enjoy listening. However, there are times they miss the story of the film. Christine is a good example. They missed the consumerist love affair that men have with their ‘toys’...to the point they name these inanimate objects. They completely missed the love triangle between Arnie, Christine, and Arnie’s love interest. Instead they choose go with the concept of a movie feeling like different movies and a possessed car. My next HOWEVER...is simply that it is the point of art...especially visual art! We all see it differently. Hence why I would recommend this show to ANY horror fan. Just be open minded!

It’s refreshing to hear two such authentic and intelligent people talk about horror films. I love their insight and analysis about every angle of a movie, from production to cast to story and beyond. Utterly fascinating!

Simple in its design and delivery, this podcast and it’s hosts dynamic is on point. I genuinely am interested in what these two think of movies and I enjoy their selections which range from mainstream to obscure. Not bogged down with ads (none at all actually) , these guys enjoy the content matter and aren’t overly analytical. It’s the perfect podcast for my commute

Recently found this podcast when looking for some more horror input. As an avid horror fan and convention goer I’m always on the look out for more input. The guys really put a lot of thought into each episode. While I may not agree with all their critiques I enjoy the show none the less

Craig and Todd achieve an almost perfect combination of the things I look for in a horror movie podcast: they cover the movies I want to hear about, their chemistry is genuine, and they stay on topic with really in-depth analysis. But most importantly, they are clearly intelligent guys who have something to say. It's a great balance of thoughtful critique and poking fun at the sometimes ridiculous horror genre. Keep it up!

TGAAC is one of my two favorite horror movie podcasts. Very intelligent insight and research, put into the reviews of the films discussed and the hosts have a great rapport. Once you give it a try you’ll be hooked! Highly recommend.

They start talking about the movie right away, and when they’re done, the podcast ends. No fluff, that’s all I want in a podcast. Good job fellas

I recently stumbled across this podcast and I LOVE IT! They cover SO many of my favorites and have pointed me in the direction of some I’ve never seen. Definitely recommend!

This show is so entertaining. Like Craig and Todd, I’ve been watching horror movies since a young age, and so their memories are relatable. It’s so much fun to hear the guys crack up about ridiculous scenes from the movies they cover. Their laughter is contagious. I listen to their podcast mostly riding the bus to and from work and just sit there laughing looking like a weirdo. A great place to learn about movies you may not have heard of. If you haven’t listened to the podcast, yet, I highly recommend their Blood Rage episode, preferably after seeing the movie. Keep up the great work, gentlemen.

I’ve been listening to and liking this show for a little bit. But today, listening to the return of the living dead review and the one guy seems so critical of this dumb movie... I dunno... something so funny about it. I want more. Watch more of these 80s garbage films and pick apart the production choices and writing styles. My new favorite art. Beyond this I like these guys’ back and forth, timing, etc. Seems well edited. Good!

Haven't made it through the whole catalog yet but I absolutely love this podcast. Any fans of horror will enjoy.

I’m not a complete horror fan but I love your podcast. My husband is the horror fan (I’m a sci-fi fan). He has dragged me into slowly over the past thirteen years. The way you guys break down the movies you watch is addicting. I have watched a few based on your descriptions. I have become more willing to watch the movie suggestions of my husband after listening to the review you give. Thanks for using gift of reviewing horror movies to strengthen marriages. :)

This is my favorite podcast right now. Was told about it by a coworker and subscribed as soon as I saw the list of movies the guys had already reviewed. I started out listening to the episodes based on my favorite horror flicks then moved on to the rest of what's offered. Todd and Craig have an easy to listen to style that never feels forced. Their love of the genre comes through in the detail behind their research and the earnestness of their delivery. They seem like people you'd be friends with in the real world. Through this podcast, I've gained new appreciation for movies I've seen a dozen times each and been prompted to see other films I may have otherwise overlooked. Tremendous work!
