Funny show. Chris laker sounds like someone you would wanna smoke with.

I accidentally came upon (figuratively) The New Show w/ Chris Laker about a month or so ago by searching for some new ancient alien talk, and the "Chris Laker, Slave of the Annunaki” episode was in the results. After listening to the podcast, not only was I NOT disappointed, I have been completely hooked. I went back and started from episode 1 and just caught up yesterday. He is hilarious as are his panel guests. It was so cool to hear the growth of the show and of Chris. I really liked the topic format the best, and trying to shake things up by parodying other talk show formats was also fun to listen to… You just never know what you are going to get from week to week. It can be shockingly funny, and genuinely honest. I was planning on attending tonight at the Creek and the Cave, which is the venue they record at in New York City (well, as Chris has expressed: it’s actually LIC, but close enough) every Wednesday. But I forgot that they were being bumped for a roast or something… Anyway, I hope to be there next week. I do hope I get a seat– I hear that it is a full house every time! Oh, and I want to call out Nick Maritato and Jaqueline Novak before I hit submit. they are guests more frequently than others and also extremely funny. Nick, whether as a guest or his pseudo side-kick is a riot. and Jaqueline’s comedic insight and delivery are fantastic. That’s all, I hope more people stumble across his show. Chris is a very funny comedian, and I am happy to tell anyone who I know about him to get them hooked also. cheers!

Chris Laker has helped me through countless long drives with his glorious humor. If you haven't downloaded at least one podcast, you're doing something wrong.

Love the show, I wanna to come to New York to see it live

I like the way Chris gets his guests to share their stories, when you can tell sometimes they are trying to be guarded. He is thought provoking and his approach just makes me laugh. I really look forward to a lot of CCR podcasts but especially this one. Chris is so down to earth, he seems like he could be your big brother, you just want to tell him all the bad things you've done because you know he will make you laugh about it and make sense of it at the same time. So download his show, don't be rude to such a nice person! Thank you for such a quality show.

This podcast is especially great for those of us NOT in New York who want to get a taste of the NY comedy scene. Evan and Chris, keep up the good work. Don't ever quit the podcast. It really is a great production that I look forward to every week.
