HJPCTLong live the disco biscuitsGreat podcast for any disco biscuits fan, even better podcast for fans of bands named after a animal (fish, geese, pigeons etc) Next year the disco biscuit celebrate 30 years as a band… It’s unbelievable that they are playing at such a high-level in 2024 and showing no signs of slowing down. Big big things ahead for the disco biscuits and fam. Thanks Matt and of course thank you Barber for this podcast!
-
Ian2345If you like the Biscuits you need to listenThe Biscuits are on fire right now. If you want to understand how they are playing so good this is the place to learn about it.

BryanMullyPure GoldStop being a wook! I’m so mean I make medicine sick. 5 stars all day. Enjoy.
-
wkwilsonGolden age of BiscoIntelligent, informative, entertaining analysis. I have learned as much about the creative process as I have about the biscuits in the last few episodes. Knowing why you’re hearing what your hearing makes listening to Bisco a transcendent experience!

btlatPerfect podcast if you love the Disco Biscuits & even if you don’t know who they areI love that these guys take time out of their day to give us an insider view on the music making process! Whether you’ve been listening to the band for 30 years, 10 years, or if you just appreciate really smart music it’s a great listen! I’ve been listening to The Disco Biscuits for about 10 years, and I find this podcast extremely enlightening! Helps me enjoy their music even more! Excited for the Rock Opera project, and hearing how the band is continuing to grow!
-
YouCleanItUpEssential Podcast for any Biscuits fanThis is where it’s at to get all the behind the scenes Bisco info directly from the source. With the addition of Max Dawson as co-host the podcast has elevated to a new level! We’re mass communicating!!

Scobes14The soothing voice of Jon Barber is a touchdown every timeTouchdowns all day gets me. It’s the perfect content to get my daughter ready to go to sleep or cook a steak. Whether listening to rich steel curated bisco jams, thoughts on survivor and other ramblings from barber himself, pop in commentary from Cookie during an important analysis of the infamous heymaker set or just what we all need right now, answers to life’s touch questions. If this is the content you crave turn to touchdowns all day. The podcast that the heady folks wish they could have played in their festival tents sound baths but instead rocked gongs for $20. Also great bathrobes.

Mike FishbeinAmazing podcastHighly recommend

JishmanPortal to a Barber’s HeadWhat this podcast has grown into in just 20 episodes is really something. #18 is about as good of a mind into a young musician as you’ll get. Full on props to Max for a great interview, and bringing unbridled enthusiasm and historical chops to live music played for only a handful of people 20 years ago. A special portrait of a band and musician growing by leaps and bounds and beats, show by epic show. Adding...the Waves episodes were also fantastic. Bring back Max for reg interview segments please!
-
DreadpiratemayThank youI think I might be the lone non Bisco fan who listens to the podcast that you were joking about. I listened to the DB a little when Phish took one of their breaks, enjoyed it, but listened to other things too. But for some reason I really enjoy the on going commentary during a show. What a cool approach and the co-listens with the other band members is genius. This is a unique and really fun show and you are slowly winning me over. Alex in NC

SwamiTyBarber Wails!I was first b’gocked by Barber at the Trocadero in 99 and have had a man crush on him ever since. Always good to get more banter from Babs.
-
KnarrClayThanksMuch thanks for the insight on what’s going on, while it’s going on. Will make the shows, and listening back awesome. Thanks Jon
-
KirkarelliThis is so greatCan’t begin to explain my enjoyment here: Love the dissection of what’s happening in a jam. Newer stuff, and the classic stuff especially. I’m entranced by the interviews about what was happening back in the day. Really brings back memories about why I fell in love with the scene, and especially the Disco Biscuits. Please never let this end!!!
-
shawnhoffmanFun listen for Bisco fansGood jam selection, interesting insight, and extended banter that may not be for everyone but finds its home among the fans. Brownie’s comment about the chat in ep. 20 is spot on - thanks for the streams!
-
BlowChokiesAll the range of emotions touchedOne part a desperate cry for attention, one part just a gifted shredding soul seeking love. #touchdownsallday engulfs the entire mind and spirit in a way unlike any podcast I’ve heard in the past 3 hours. But seriously it’s very funny and def a perspective to enjoy. More Brownie impression encouraged. Preferably develop an Allen and a Magner too. Brownie is ez

Ry12091287MehDon’t listen to the Robert hunter episode if you have ever read anything credible on Hunter. This is just weird.

Presley:)Set Break Is OverJon has a great thing going here. Biscuits talking Biscuits with hilarious banter and some football chatter here and there too. I could listen to Jon talk all day. All of the guest on the podcasts have been excellent additions as well. #TDAD4L

klein76TDADbabyThe greatest podcast on the internet
-
starks007We’ve waited years for thisAs a touring fan since 2002, we’ve waited a long time for biscuits talking biscuits. Before shows, during set breaks, and in hotel rooms, we as fans have dissected jams and moments from our favorite band. To have Barber weighing in on the music he has played and what he was thinking in the moment is truly “heaven sent”. As Jon has stated, this podcast will help drive the machine that is The Disco Biscuits.
-
Dtm909Come for the banter stay for the jamsBarber is at his finest banter
-
Nick Diaz420#TDADI came for the touchdowns but stayed for the punchlines. B4L
-
Selo GreenExtended banter ftwIf you skip Brownie banters but listen to barber banters then this podcast is for you
-
Bill the shoe repair guySo happy this podcast exists.Any biscuits fan loves barber. This is like an extended “banter” track. And it’s amazing.
-
Jer Bear 9Love the conceptLove the concept and the direction. It’s an amazing insight on what’s going through your guys mind while jamming. Something new and cool. Would love to see a look back segment if there was a look back on today and a song and tidbit of inside info about the show
-
biscoguy427BARBER!!!!!Good deal. Could only be better for the band.
-
DJDirtyElbowsLETS GOOOOOListening with some buddies right now, love the jams and how great all the music is, would always recommend!!!
-
mistabahnzHow lucky we areFirst its free webcasts, now a killer podcast....Thanks Barber and the entire Disco Biscuits crew.
-
D1ld0Shwagg1nsYou’ll Love This if you Love BiscuitsThis is such a cool concept for a podcast from so many perspectives. It’s like seeing into the mind of the artist, or at least the artist’s recollection of his performance, as it’s being created. Fully improvisational sections handpicked by Rich Steele are played while Barber narrates. His recollections of the band’s interactions and intentions for the jam are communicated in a stream of consciousness style while you listen to it with him. There’s really nothing like this out there!
-
Tricycle-TristAnCatalyst for inspirationBarber!!! Been really liking the podcast for the chance to hear that old school unearthed magic, excited to hear about how Camp Went and maybe some behind the scenes shenanigans +)
-
PimplashTdad is friggin ace!Been on the Biscuits since 00. Took two extra years to graduate because of these guys. Glad I graduated before the inception of this pod or my life would be in much disarray. Barber is a pretty funny dude and gets to be a funny dude in this format, and as a music nerd, the explication of their jams is enthralling. Thanks dude. This show should only get better.

davo7767🌲👽🌲Barber is the man. B4L

Fairee in the Sink🧝🏻♀️#TOUCHDOWNSALLDAY!!I love the Disco Biscuits because they always go for the “Hail Mary” no matter what. I listen to a lot of finance podcasts, but this was awesome. No more Hail Marys - because Jon is throwing touchdowns. All. Day. 89.9% I saw him through an “air football” toward brownie at the Ogden. Love this podcast. He gets me.
-
WTFMATEOJon may not be of this worldYes, he’s look human. Yes, he speaks our language. However, this being may not be of our planet. I’ve seen him do and say things that only aliens or celestial beings are capable of. His guitar is simply a vehicle for him to tap into our brains and potentially more. This podcast is just another medium for “barber” or the other or his jamness to take us on a tour of the trance universe.
-
garf looksThis is like a religious dialogueI’ve been wanting to know about anything that happens in jons mind. This is more than I could ever ask for. The shows are my church. The songs are my holy books. Thank you for this.

SL in BrooklynTop notch podcast with thoughtful real-time insightThe guitarist from my favorite band sits down and relistens to live sets and goes under the hood to detail his thought process. It’s like a Monday morning quarterbacking from a hall of famer. Jon breaks it down and delivers the goods with this podcast. Loving it
