Finally caved and started watching CTM. I was hooked instantly. Then I discovered this podcast. Love it!

I just binged 8 season of call the midwife on Netflix and then entered a content chasm of sadness when along comes this Amazing podcast! So great to listen and hear perspectives and details I hadn’t noticed in my first viewing. I’d like to put in a formal request for the afterbuzz crew to do a rewatch and review of the earlier seasons on the next long break! It’d be a great chance for the American fans to get to participate in the live shows with the UK folk if we all watch together! Plus I want to know what y’all were thinking in some of the earlier episodes!! Either way the discussion and critique is GREAT and I love this program.

I recently discovered this podcast and have only listened to a few episodes. I really enjoyed the discussions and questions and clarifications that they bring to each episode. But the sound level is often way too soft, except when a pre-recorded bit is inserted and then it’s suddenly much louder.

Just catching up on all the Seasons of Call the Midwife and am SO appreciative of the high quality commentary you give along with your genuine emotional reactions! You guys rock! Thank you!

One of the best podcast for a tv series. It’s nice that they come prepared and provide some great commentary about the episodes each week. It’s clear that they’re fans of the show! :)

Just discovering Call the Midwife, wondered if there was a podcast...then HELLO! My crew from Downton Abbey! So ecstatic!

One lady regularly clears her throat, they all shout over each other, constantly swearing ("God" "dammit"),etc.

It fills the hole in my heart that Downton left. Plus no one I know watches this show so it's wonderful to process all my thoughts and feelings the next morning with y'all.
