Maybe this whole leftism thing isn’t so bad after all? Just checked out a copy of The 18th Brumaire from my local library, really digging it!

The podcast is okay, but definitely not life changing or any of that. I don’t get why the reviews are so full of wows & such.

I have been a long time fan of both history and urbanism. Over the years I have grown bored with the “great man” narrative in other history podcasts, so I am very excited to listen and learn from the perspective of the masses and the oppressed! If you consider yourself to be a “history buff” to any degree, you should definitely give this podcast a try!

I really appreciate this discussion. It’s the first thing I’ve listened to in a while that makes me consider with greater complexity my own stances on gun control and how I might best help fight for social and economic justice.
