NVanReeceNashvilleKeeps getting better!A must listen. Erin continues to be the voice of the fan in this format. You can’t say you love WBB without this pod in your feed.
-
KR_FanThe Sports Talk We’ve Needed!Erin’s knowledge of sports, & focus on women’s sports, provides interesting commentary & perspective. I relish each episode- to obtain coverage & insights on games, and learn deeper stories & experiences from those who have played & coached. Her humor, and fan perpective, adds the perfect touch to make each episode feel like you’re hanging out with your pal while listening to a game or an interview.
-
Gretchen_EAlways infectious! AI’ve been a huge fan of Erin’s for years, her passion for sports and people is infectious. The deep dive interviews she features, regardless of the sport, are incredibly thoughtful. You get the very real sense that her subjects have never received questions like Erin’s before, because she isn’t interested in surface level small chat. Her curiosity and knowledge are unparalleled. Her breakdowns of events leave me feeling armed with what I need to know to go into any sports bar or backyard bbq and impress, which I understand isn’t the goal of the podcast but it’s a nice perk. Couldn’t recommend Herlights more highly! A

blazerlessVery enjoyable, could unleash more humor.Have listened to just a handful. Klingenberg and Stubbs episodes were fantastic. For such a funny and accomplished stand up comedienne, Erin could stand to unleash more humor into the podcast.

Screensaver14What I’ve Been Looking ForAs a woman who loves sports, I’ve been looking for a sports podcast that isn’t filled with bros. I found SWB after My Favorite Murder repped it for International Women’s Day and have been binge listening ever since. It’s so fun to listen to women who love sports as much as I do.
-
KT917!ExcellentExcellent. Always enjoy when Bridget McManus comes on! Still, nothing beats Drew Droege's Glitter in the Garbage podcast. Don't forget handball. It's insanely popular in all of Europe and the EHF Euro occurs this month.
-
heidica75Lots of laughs & sports talkLove Erin’s take on a variety of sports, especially women’s sports. I hear more about women in professional sports on Erin’s podcast than anywhere else. Love the special guests, feel good moments, back on the bus segment and always nice to know what Carol is doing (or not doing). Thanks for the funny and informative podcast. Always look forward to hearing your perspective.

JD14626Happy I got around to listeningI first heard of Sports Without Balls when Erin Foley was on Never Not Funny. It took me a while to remember to give it a listen and I am glad I did. It is funny, unique and the her's and her guest's love of sports just shines through. Dare I say it is like tasting the sweet nectar of sports podasting!! Thanks!

Gotus21The highlight of my week!Having too many hours driving in a car on a typical week, I grew very tired of the regional, sports radio talking about 1 or 2 sports or whose ratings were better than others or belittling women on a daily basis. Yet, a LOVE sports! More refreshing than a Capris Sun (😉), I rejoiced when finding a favorite comedian, Erin Foley, and her amazing guests, intelligently analyzing, reviewing, discussing and taking “deep dives” into so many topics including the AMAZING world of women’s athletics! I’ve been listening for 110 years and loving it! (I may need to fact check that. CAROL!!!) I laugh every week and count the minutes to the next podcast. Do yourself a favor, listen to Sports Without Balls and “have the best week of your life!” (If not, get “back on the bus!” 🤓)
-
SpoBandSports w/o Toxic MasculinityI don’t follow much sports, mostly due to hating machismo BS. Erin Foley helps ground the show with passion, and without toxic masculinity. I listen to this show while watching baseball on mute. Absolutely love it. So glad I started listening after Erin was on Never Not Funny!
-
IFeedSunnyErin K Foley hosts a Griener slam dunk of a podcastA great, female sports focused podcasts with great weekly segments. (Side note: Can we all just agree that Urban Meyer needs to be Back On The Bus permanently?) Overall- the podcast highlights all sports (particularly those with female competitors) from a point of view filled with passion and humor. Any episode with Bridget McManus is an hour of non-stop entertainment and laughs. Jenny Johnson is gold as well.
-
m0nkee3y<3lovelovelove this podcast. greatest. podcast. ever. just listen or watch (patreon) and you'll know. especially love episodes with bridget mcmanus or kaycee conlee.
-
Nancy McDowellPodcastsGood podcasts, but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, get Trish Shur back on for occasional podcasts. I don’t really care how busy she is.
-
SKS0815Great showBeen a listener since 2013, when I heard Erin as a hilarious guest on The Crabfeast (*****). Thoughtful analysis, intelligent and funny conversation with her guests, with the absence of shouting that can be found on other sports programs, though she can monologue with the best of them if provoked. Great source for women’s sports, current headlines, and feel good stories. Give it a try and it will become a “must listen” when an episode drops.
-
grettag97Wishing go moreLOVE listening to Erin & Trish talk sports! Always good thoughts, great guests & a ton of fun. Makes my 1.5 hr commute fly by. If only Carol could get her act together.....
-
monkey41101please make bridget mcmanus the 3rd cohost!!!always love when she brings her zaniness to the show! oh lani!!!
-
Jack E TreehornNo-BrainerIt’s Erin Foley talking sports, what’s not to like? Recent convert from #WYATR and I’ve loved every episode I’ve heard so far. Erin’s passion & heart come through with every episode, even highlighting sports-storylines and backgrounds I’ve never heard. The guests aren’t too shabby either. I haven’t caught enough episodes w/Trish, but the few I have listened to leave me wanting more of her & Erin’s dynamic.
-
Greg83!3:?:$37373$;BallsHilarious! As someone that has only watched professional curling, it was awesome to hear about other sports!
-
sunpop83Even though they root for teams I hate......I can’t get enough of this podcast. I find myself thinking, “I wonder what Erin and Trish will have to say about this?!?”, while reading every sports article on the planet when I should be working. You guys really are the best and I can’t wait to rock a “sports without balls” T-shirt. Go Packers and O’s!
-
LeeQuickFavorite (and only) sportscast!Erin and Trish are the best! They’re always fun and full of positive energy, the kind of folks you want to go to a WNBA game with. Love the women’s sports coverage. My fave segment is the Feel Good Moment of the Week. Listen to this show and have the best week of your life! 5 balls. ⚾️🏀⚽️🎾🏐
-
Steven0171Awesome podcast!!!I am a fairly new listener, but I'm already hooked.
-
finkfinksantiagoInto itLove the pod. Would love to hear more about the WNBA as this year's season progresses
-
biggfrommvA shot of pure happinessAfter hearing Erin Foley's comedy, I decided to check out her podcast and what I found was hours on end of pure delight. Her attitude is infectious and leaves you feeling just a bit better about your day. My girlfriend fears sports the same way as she fears the plague, but she loves to listen to Erin, Trish, and Carol. This intelligent, funny, and introspective show is a treat for anyone.
-
EAcrantsBest Part of my WeekI started listening for Erin. Stayed for Carol. Won't ever leave because of Trish. Favorite podcast that encompasses all sports of all genders. Listening is the best part of my week. Thanks, ladies. Emily
-
ebirvingErin + Trish = dream sequenceI've been listening to SWB since I heard Erin on the JV Club podcast a couple of years back. I can't remember a single episode when I haven't learned something new about sports AND laughed so hard that I've scared the cat. (Both of those go double for episodes that feature Trish.) It's especially awesome to hear thoughtful, consistent attention paid to women's sports. And though I'm still a little bit in denial that Erin is a Yankees fan, her love of Manny Machado covers a multitude of sins. Go Peaches!
-
CleverNickname3000SWB podcastI've enjoyed Sports Without Balls for a while and trying to pay it back by writing a review. I love that Erin and Trish officially joined forces. Go Peaches! (and go cards)
-
PS: BlairErin & Trish for 2020Born and raised in Kentucky, so love me some Trish. Played soccer in college, so love me some sports. Fan of intelligence and laughter (and beauty), so love me some Erin. My week is incomplete without this podcast; the sheer amount of research and passion that goes into every show quite literally blows my mind. Who needs ESPN when you have Sports Without Balls? Who needs Trump when you have Erin and Trish?! (Also, who needs Trump?) Keep it up ladies!! #erinandtrishforpresident2020
-
mkmueller12Hilarious!!The banter these two have is hilarious, sounds like mornings in my office. I love 🏈⚽️, but am growing interested in the other sports as I listen to this show!!
-
jrduncansPositive Sports FanaticismWhat could be better than combining sports and comedy? Well, make the comedian the excellent Erin Foley, who brings genuine enthusiasm for all thing sports. Top it off with a feel good moment every episode, and Sports Without Balls is a podcast I always look forward to.
-
PlycNo Balls RequiredGreat sports talk, balls or no balls. Just heard an hour of mostly basketball and tennis (2 of my least favorite sports) and was completely engrossed. Lots of opinions and tons of passion. Can't wait to hear this show during football and hockey season. Heard Erin is a Rangers fan. Whatcha think about Rick Nash? Bust, amirite?
-
TwinmomSueSo much fun !!Erin and her awesome guests offer a passionate and hilarious podcast from a true sports fan's perspective. Their excitement and enthusiasm about all things sports is absolutely infectious. I found this show AFTER I decided to retire from Fantasy Sports but I suddenly find myself picking up fantasy football draft guides and nerding out over running back stats again. Sports Without Balls is my personal "feel good moment of the week" from the daily grind and the ridiculousness of election politics. Subscribe, listen, laugh and learn. You won't regret it 👏👏
-
WuztheTCAROL! GET ON THE GOOGLE!Aside from the occasional hockey or football game, I honestly don't even watch sports and I LOVE this effing podcast. I started listening because I'm a huge Erin Foley fan and ran out of fresh episodes of other shows and now I listen every week. Trish is a goddamn gem and Erin is so fun to listen to. Sports fan - or not! - download and listen! GO PEACHES!
-
BreSte85I’d crack a wine cooler with CarolAs a lady who also loves sports to an unhealthy level as well as comedy, this show has been a gold mine for pure joy and entertainment. I discovered it last year and after catching up with all the past episodes, I get excited to listen to new ones the day they come out. Erin is so effing hilarious and her guests are always top notch and bring a unique sports perspective. The banter is great and the conversations are just as insightful as they are funny. Keep chopping wood.
-
T5D6D5TLovelyI am a 17 boy an I love this show it gets me interested in baseball, and all sports, with my brother and dad. They are both huge fans of baseball. Thanks for making such a great show!! Definitely recommend for anyone trying to get into sports but find them boring.
-
HighdeeeeBest podcast everI love when Erin talks about women's sports and how she wants to bang all the female athletes.
-
MaraMcD13FantasticYour podcasts are great.....and I love the reality of your opinions. Trish Suhr makes me laugh until i cry....Keep them coming!
-
CSRoweFavorite New CastAlways happy to see a new episode pop up! As a female sports fan it's nice to hear from another that has actual intelligent and funny insight and bringing on guests that do as well! Keep up the quality cast. Merch? I'd buy some!
-
GeoWD40No balls, but still to the wallThe only way I could love this show more is if it spawned a spinoff called "Back On The Bus" starring Dick and Mary Foley.
-
Adina_EA+++Shoutout to Erin (with an E) and Aaron (with an A), and Carol, too (I guess) for the most entertaining sports podcast out there. Funny, smart, and straight-up on point. Erin: come back to NY some time soon, please!
-
MattyshayHilarious!Erin is refreshingly funny. One of those people that doesn't even try to be funny.. Just is. Loving it so far keep up the good work.
-
Footy For LifeGreat host!Overall, I really enjoy this podcast. It definitely approaches sports in a unique way and there isn't any other podcast out there like it! Erin is consistently hilarious and the guests have been great.
-
Slap MaxwellStill haven't missed an episodeErin is the best. The show is amazing. I feel honored to have participated in any way shape or form. And I hope Carol gets her act together
-
MiaKurtzyThank you Katie Nolan.First discovered this podcast while listening to Garbage Time. It is a must listen for female sports fans!!! Love this podcast!
-
MidtowndogCarol WAKE UP !!!Hands down my favorite Sports Talk. Who couldn’t use a good laugh about their team and the sports they love. Erin is passionate about all sports and delivers great insight to the game. I look forward to a new episode every week.
-
NHCryptoFun and Informative!Despite the fact that Erin dislikes my Red Sox and Patriots, I listen to her podcast every week and enjoy it immensely! Erin's love of sports is contagious and even manages to get me interested in teams outside of my New England home. Go Peaches!
-
TpusheckAwesome fun!!So always a big fan of Erin. Had not listened in a bit, but today on a beautiful day of cycling and listening had so much fun!! A great take on sports, life and the importance of sports to girls and the women they become!! I was laughing out loud and am sure I looked crazy to others on the road and at intersections. Thank you Erin keep up the good work!! Always so f#@%ing smart!!! Go Cubs go!!
-
TaterunnerLOVE the showReally, everyone should listen :) Erin's sports knowledge "nerdiness" has helped me on more than 1 occasion when talking sports to clients in my male dominated field. Love everything about this show
-
KWoxlandNo balls neededErin and her guests have great insight on the big 4 sports, plus others that the 4 letter network won't talk about. I could, and I have listened to her talk tennis for 50 minutes. Erin has great taste in women (hello USWNT!) She could use a better fact checker (how about me?). One request: more of Trish Suhr (rawr!).
-
Kelly DeSalvoThere's no crying in Women's podcasts!By far my favorite podcast. Nice to hear another woman know so much about sports. Refreshing, funny, entertaining, and a different perspective on sports than many other podcasts. I love that she covers lots of women's sports but also talks about the NFL, MLB, and everything else there is. Look forward every week to a new episode!
