RFrazEasy listening for the tender-heartedI adore these two! I’m quite a nostalgic type, so this is right up my alley. I love the dynamic between Meg and Julian as well. This is one of my favorite podcasts, always fun to listen to!

mmsurvivorfanThere a lot of negativity !!I found this podcast through a couple comedians I like who were guests. There some episodes that are really fun. However, if the host doesn’t like the guests’ choice of topic or doesn’t share their interest. He gets really judgmental , condescending & negative.Considering the theme of the pod is things that makes you feel good the host attitude is counter intuitive.

mmantravHilarious! Co-host Meg is a DELIGHT!The Soft Spot is a true comedy gem in the podcast-sphere. Meg and Julian bring all the fun, laughs, and nostalgia. This podcast will give you genuine LOLs and keep you coming back for more. Meg is hilarious, charming, and witty; Julian brings all the dad jokes and funny childhood stories. Together, Meg and Julian are truly a dynamic duo, and play off each other very well. Give this a listen - you will get hooked! Also, bonus - Meg is an artist and I just started following her on Instagram and she is super talented. Check it out!

LochNessMonster.Five StarsThis podcast is perfect. When I’m listening, I truly I feel like I’m in the room with Megan and Julian; so much I have to keep reminding myself that I don’t actually know then. claire_beanFunI love the idea behind this podcast and they have some great guests. However Meg is so mean-girly to Julian it gets uncomfortable at times

CK Does VideoA Great Blue Trail for Nostalgiac Ski BunniesFun. Intelligent. Humorous. Digestible. Meg and Julian make it so easy to cruise through each episode. You'll soon learn they've been cool (like forever) and you'll feel like you are too cuz you can relate. Just don't go comparing your relationship against their chemistry, originality, or panache.

DougVHPCan’t get enough!Easily one of the best comedy podcasts out there! A great time!
-
enzen5I remember that! Thanks guys for bringing me back

Ninaka in JCHas great potential, but...I wish Julian would learn to be less intrusive when it comes to giving his input. He constantly cuts Meg and guests off when they are speaking, which is unfortunate; other than that, I really do enjoy the podcast.
-
smopesyHits the spot!Great format and Meg and Julian work well together. Strongly recommend.

RosenbirdAuthentic LOL’sLately I find myself white-knuckling it to Wednesday’s when I can get my fix of my pretend bff’s Julian and Meg flirt/bicker/tease each other and their guests, unearth those big feelings of youth under the guise of pop culture obsessions, and remind me that my internal age is 13. The Soft Spot is MY soft spot. ❤️
-
Emily H RA real pick me upI find listening to these Meg and Julian to be consistently delightful. It is also a real treat to hear favorite comedians wax rhapsodic on their favorite guilty pleasures.

Dunkin_HonutsThe Perfect Antidote to a Crappy Commute!I love Meg and Julian! Cashmere for your ears!!! (Trademark that!) ;) Have been ringing cramped DC Metro trains to work this summer where everyone looks so serious and we are squished together. Not fun!! I listen to you guys and feel like I can relax and often find myself giggling on the subway. This podcast was recommended to me by my podcast app based on other things and I am so glad I checked it out! Highly recommend!
-
AshintheburghAlways a good time.Just a warm, genuine podcast. Your favorite comedians talking about what hits their nostalgic soft spot. If I had an episode, it would be about cats, Total Recall, and my babysitter’s son letting me watch Alien at 5 years old.
-
Michael S. RogersGreat comfort showSuper cozy and easy to listen to on long drives. The John Mulaney ep about mister rogers was awesome.
-
CrossFitJodiLike it and a suggestionLove the premise and enjoy the show. Julian, please stop talking over Meg and your guests. It’s frustrating when you as a question and then immediately answer it yourself.
-
ShevilKatChill and reminisceTook a listen because it was the featured podcast (and Karen Kilgariff was on) and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it! Couldn’t subscribe fast enough. With all the crap that is going on in the world, this is a refreshing place to go to chill, laugh, and reminisce, and reboot.

Kim HoffmanSofter, SoftestMeg and Julian, you slay me. I’ve been going through it lately, hard. And the Soft Spot leaves me with the softest feelings. For that I’m so thankful. Where to begin? Childhood Jams episode only confirmed that I love you guys dearly. Every single second made me smile and giggle. My own mini van moments were so similar. Julian describing listening to “Valerie” in the car as a kid in the 80s? Perfect. Meg fangirling over Andrew Lloyd Webber? Everything. Chills, you guys. I started with the Ghostwriter episode and went on from there because we are so cut from the same cloth. A true sweet spot in the podcast world for all the grownup kids out there.

Aud7033The hug we all need right now.Like time traveling in your sleeping bag. Not the scary kid on a milk carton 80’s, but the Ms. Pac-Man at the Pizza Hut 80’s. Good memories. Good times.
