Galaxix GalUnique storyline, but weak readingI have to admit I almost gave up on the story with the first episode, because the narrator was reading as if it were a race to reach the end. Too fast, too monotone, no sense of pacing. Having said that, I actually enjoyed the storyline quite a lot. Although the author committed the cliche of having his “aliens” behave all too much like humans (which many authors before him have done), the awful situation that he sets the character Scott Anderson in unique, fascinating, and heartbreaking. This story haunted me long after it was over, and will be one I’ll never forget.

Velodadboring readerThe story is decent, could be better. He really needs to have someone else do the narrating. Gave up after a few episodes.

Cesium_137Started off good, butI thought that the story started off really well. My problem was the direction that the plot took. I got about halfway through and just didn't like the story. Too bizarre. I thought the narration was okay. This will not be everybody's cup of tea.

pcknshvlNarration is badThe previous reviews all sounded so good that I thought I'd give "Homesick" a try. My problem, however, is with the narrator--he reads too quickly, and actually sounds bored! Too distracting for me....

dlhaefGood story, butThe story was good, it kept me listening. I was pleasantly surprised. Good characters and the plot was not predictable. I look forward to hearing more stories from the author. I don't agree with the reviews about the narration. I thought it was almost pityable. There was barely an accent with the English character among other things. It is understood that the writer is no actor and I am not suggesting he hire a cast, but in his insistance that he is concerned about quality, he should have found someone better at narration.

blindmageWOWI WAS FLABBERGASTED. I listened to the whole book in one and a half days. I loved it, I totally loved it, when you talked about the whole vr aspect borderlines on cyberpunk stories such as snow crash and otherland. by the way have you heard of lule and create space, they are both free. you just have to buy your first copy.

RizanglerExcellent story which makes you think,This story moves along nicely and soon you are having some extrodenary moments that leave you asking yourself; how would you behave in a simmilar situation? It gets very graphic at times, like a good science fiction story should. There is an underlining story about how one person can go through such tramatic events and is forever haunted by them. I look forward to other stories by the Author.

melado2103RGS!! Really Good StoryThis is a pleasant surprise -- a really good story, Characters are complex and line is interesting. Narration is clear and characterizations are very good and consistent. Only drawback is that narrator needs to slow down a little -- just a little. Relax -- enjoy your RGS man! Will definitely recommend.

theedogeryPut this up with Nathan Lowell, Sigler Excellent Story and podcast!!I have been through all of what I would consider the classic Podcast i.e. Sigler, Hutchins, Morris etc. This is a wonderful outer space journey. Well crafted and pleasantly narrated. At times the narrator sounds like Nathan Lowel and if you enjoyed his Golden Age series, then you should love this book. Listen to it on a turnaround road trip from Long Beach to Sacramento and still didn't finish. It was the perfect audiobook for my road trip. Joseph has been added to my list of favorite podcaster/storyteller/authors. Much success and thanks for the story.
