I looked forward to listening to these episodes every month when I finished The Walking Dead. I don’t have many people that I can talk to about the comics and it was always fun to hear Grace and Mr B break down the issues. I’ll miss this tradition.

This is one of my favorite podcasts. Grace and Mr. Blahg always have great insight into each comic they cover. Mr. B. always makes me laugh and chooses fitting music for the breaks.They have introduced me to so many great titles and I have them to thank for my newfound love of comics!

Great podcast! It's like instantly finding good friends who share your passion for indie comics. I've actually emailed them for suggestions on what to read next and they're help was greatly appreciated! Keep it up guys!

Love the honest, in depth discussions, especially on the Walking Dead. Grace and Mr B are not afraid to either criticize or fanboy out on the issues they cover. I have picked up new titles such as The Wicked & The Divine and Sex Criminals based on their recommendations and loved them. Thanks for all the hard work guys!

This is a great podcast for fans of creator-owned comics (mostly Image titles). I like both of the hosts, Grace and Mr. Blahg, and they compliment and balance each other out very well.

Under the Comic Covers is the gold standard of independent comics podcasts. Mr. Blahg and Grace discuss current issues of various independent comics in an informative and entertaining manner. They have a great dynamic together that brings a smile to your face as they delve into any number of outlandish situations from butt kicking roosters to the walking undead to people that can stop time when they orgasm. But what truly separates this podcast from so many others is the connection they have with their listeners. Mr. Blahg and Grace make the listeners feel like they are a part of the show from reading emails to even asking where certain listeners are if they haven't written in a bit. So go ahead and click that subscribe button and give it a listen. You won't regret it.

I thank you guys for opening up the world of comics for me. I used to only read DC comics & The Walking Dead but you guys have introduced me to some of my favorite books since this show started.

I stumbled into this podcast recently but immediately went backwards and started listening the old episodes as well as the new. These 2 have great chemistry and provide insightful commentary on many of the books I read, with a big focus on indie stuff, mostly Image from what I've heard so far. While I am a big Marvel fan, I love Image and other indie titles and it is harder to find a podcast focused almost entirely in the indie realm (without going full hipster). Great job with this, the production is solid as is the discussion focused on just a couple of issues each episode. I like the format that sometimes includes a creator interview. As an aside, Grace and Mr. Blahg, I am also a huge Wayward fan...whicj is how I found this show. Thanks for the content!

If you are a comic book fan, you definitely owe this podcast a download and listen. The depth and unbiased detail given in this podcast to each comic (My fav of course the Walking Dead) is astonishing and I personally absolutely love it.

I became of fan of you guys from listening to the walking dead cast. Then was very excited when you got a whole show. I'd only watched the tv show before listening to you guys, but I now have read all the walking dead comics as well! Love the banter between you guys! Merry Christmas! Keep up the good work!

I've listened to every episode now and it's just consistently informative and conversational. Came for the Walking Dead reviews but stayed for all the great series they cover. Great, clean format. Funny banter (that never hits a lul) make this podcast enjoyable for those not even into comics or those returning to the medium.

This podcast really opened me up to some of the amazing indie comic books that are out there. The hosts of this show are great, and they cover great stuff. If you are new to comics, or looking for new stuff to read, listen to this podcast, and the hosts talk about lots of new books that you will want to buy immediately.

I really love these two. They are super fun and have put together the only podcast which discusses the type of comics I enjoy. They have introduced me to a TON of amazing titles and their discussions take the enjoyment of reading comics to the next level. The production quality is outstanding and the fact that they put chapters in each episode is above and beyond what anyone could ask for from a free podcast with no ads. I don't know how they do it, but it is greatly appreciated. Honestly even with adds or even for a fee I would still listen. Keep up the great work! - Matt in Iowa :)

Finally a podcast that covers indie comics!! Covering new titles and some old titles by volume, emails from their listeners, interviews, comic-cons, and news in the comic world, Mr. Blahg and Grace give it their all with great insight. There have been several times where they have pointed out easter eggs that I would have never noticed before had I not listened to the podcast. If there is a podcast that you should subscribe to that covers comics, Under the Comic Covers should be it!!!

My story is the same as everyone here-new to comics, Walking Dead, Grace and Mr. Blag’s passion….. What is really great about this podcast is the way they organize it. The chapters are set up and organized so you can pick and choose. You can read a volume and go back to the podcast and hear excellent commentary and insights plus all the behind the scenes knowledge from the comic book community which I may or may not join. a comic too gruesome or too adult just skip that section. Really well done. One suggestion for their website is to do a cross reference which lists the comic and which podcast episodes discuss but a nice to have you can find your way the way they list their episodes.

Before this podcast, I never had any interest in comic books. As most here will likely attest was their road to the podcast, I started listening because of The Walking Dead. I started watching the show and soon graduated to the comic book to feed my desire for more Walking Dead. Soon, I found UTCC to satiate the need I had for a well rounded discussion of the material. I would only listen to the episodes about TWD but because Grace & Mr. Blahg care so much about the books that they are reading, and they have such an infectious passion in discussing their favorite highlights, I have become a comic book reader. Now, because of them, I read Saga, Sex Criminals, Manifest Destiny, Revival, and have finished Y: The Last Man. I couldn’t be happier to be a comic book reader and I owe it all to them. Great podcast. Well produced. Fantastic in every way.

I love everything Walking Dead and I have been listening to those podcasts. I found this when they tie the show and book together and "Under the Comic Covers" has been my favorite ever since. They should add "LOW" and "Wytches" other than that ... Keep up the great work!!!

I got into graphic novels because of The Walking Dead and started listening to the segment Mr. Blagh and Grace had on the Walking Dead Cast. I was wishing for a separate podcast and when they announced they were starting UTCC I was thrilled. I did not realize how much this podcast would enhance my life! I just tried a recommendation they had and then two and three then four and I am a totally junkie now! To me there is nothing greater in life than a good story. The stories they have recommended and their insights and commentary have served to enrich my leisure time more than I could have ever imagined. They are both funny and play well off each other. Because of this podcast I have new hobby that I am truly grateful for. Jijo

I have been listening to Mr Blagh and Grace since they were on the Walking Dead Cast with Jason and Karen. They have introduced me to a genre that I know I would not have thought to explore. Now I'm happy to say my reading list is growing and couldn't be more pleased with that. The cast is always entertaining and intelligent. The chapter set up makes navigating the cast itself easy and appreciated. I also follow them on twitter and they always respond to my tweets and questions. Great cast! Great selection of material that is covered! A win all around! Read listen enjoy!!!

I went back to listen to all of the Walking Deadcast (which this is a bit of a spin off) and saw how this grew out of it. I do like having a review podcast for Walking Dead and appreciate their work. Gracie is a great "straight man" to Mr. Blaugh, though Mr. Blaugh isn't a comedian, he does have a bit of a sense of humor. My only gripe was in one episode where Mr. Blaugh digressed into philosophy/politics he seems a bit stunted, willing to give half-formed opinions about an anarchic soceity without doing any research into it. He should do some research into Anarchy (Molyneux, David Friedman, Lysander Spooner) before going into a seemingly drunken rant without any facts. Google Bitbutter's youtube channel and watch some of it. Read Molyneux or listen to his podcast (Freedomain Radio) and if you have questions about how a Free Society without Government could exist, call him. When it comes to comics, he has a good handle on it, but to bigger, real-life philosophy, a bit lacking.

Nice expansion to the Walking Dead Cast.

Mr. Blahg and Grace are responsible for getting me into comics as a mature adult. By mature I mean way to old to start reading comic books, but the world of indie comics that this podcast introduced me to is real literature and real art, not the silly stuff. I followed them from the WalkingDeadCast, and I’m glad I did.

Great weekly discussion of comics. I've enjoyed every comic they recommended, and look forward to reading more of the books they discuss. Certainly a podcast I am sure to listen to as soon as it comes out.

This show gives you the info you need on indie comics. The hosts are very knowledgeable and give you the info you need to choose new comics. Great show, keep up the awesome work.

Great podcast for those interested in indie comics. Mr Blahg and Grace cover some awesome material. They've turned me on to several great titles. I love how they are so genuine and in touch with their listeners.

I got into this podcast through the Walking Dead Cast, as I imagine many others did as well. Grace and Mr. Blagh have fantastic chemistry and cover wonderful character driven comics. First of all I want to address that I stumbled upon your podcast during drawing late nights along with other podcasts just to keep up with comics and news. I find that your podcast has been placed in my top 3 because of the energy you bring and your honest, emotional and clearly passionate love for the craft. Keep up the great work.

Of all the different podcast I listen to this one is the one I look forward to the most! They always make me look at comics differently and help me catch things that I missed while reading. If you're a fan of indie comics this is the podcast you want to listen to!! Ps. The choice of transition songs chosen are so spot on! LOVE IT!

Mr. Blahg and Grace are passionate, genuine, smart, fun, and irreverent in their coverage of the recent spate of high-quality non-superheroey comics from some of the most talented creators in the business. They do great interviews, have a ton of interaction with the listeners, and they’re just a pleasure to listen to. And this ‘cast will expand your horizons, because if you do check it out there’s a good chance you won’t be able to resist the temptation to dip into some of the amazing comics they cover.

I started listening to Mr Blahg and Grace when they were part of walkingdeadcast. I'm so happy they are now doing their own podcast and covering lots of other comic titles. I'm now reading Saga, Black Science, Revival and lots of others based on their excellent recommendations. Their reviews of different titles have been what has gotten me into so many new comics!

I plan to listen in the future.

I followed them over from “The Walking Deadcast” I am not even a comic reader, but they have turned me into one! Getting “Locke & Key based on their recommendation and may even try some others they talk about. This 40 something stay-at-home mom is on her way to becoming a comic nerd!

If you like story driven Indie comics better than supers in tights then this is the podcast you are looking for. Grace and Mr Blahg cover a number of good indie titles (mostly Image stuff) like Walking Dead, Revival, Manifest Destiny, Saga, Black Science - just to name a few. They are a great team with a good format. And it's not 3 hours long with annoying hosts like some podcasts. Put this one in your queue - you'll be happy you did.

I was introduced to this podcast through a Reddit post. I was interested because they were discussing two of my favorite books, The Walking Dead and Locke & Key. I was pleasantly surprised. The opinions of the hosts are thoughtful and interesting. The best part is how in depth the discussion is because they aren't afraid of spoilers.

This podcast is amazing!, Mr.Blahg and Grace have turned me on to so show many amazing titles through this show. My initial love for The Walking Dead is what drew me to the podcast initially, but hearing Mr.B's unbridled passion for Saga (which I share, team Alana all day), to Graces light hearted insight of titles like Sex Criminals has made me a fan of these titles and more.
