I Don’t Actually Line This Pod
I just don’t like leaving crappy reviews. I’m particularly nice t a fan of Adrian Clarke. I hear him on this pod and the football writers pod and the dude is as vanilla as it gets. Everyone should give money to everyone, it’s never the lazy bastard players fault, nothings ever fair etc. it’s as measured and boring as a Southgate interview but with a lack of any real presence from the person delivering it. Not for nothing and not to be a troll but I googled his career because it seems as if he’s an arsenal guy and..uhm I guess he played a few games over the years. But he was loaned and then when he was booth loaned again and again. He doesn’t seem like he was an attitude problem to deal with but Without ever having seen him play I’d be willing to bet a fundamental lack of balls might have been an issue for him. That’s what comes thru anyway. Guy is bland, dull and ball-less

    Fantastic show!!
I love this show as an American, that loves Sheffield United!! Now they’ve been promoted I’ll be able to follow them elsewhere. I promise to be back if/when the get relegated!! Cheers!

    Informative and Entertaining
If time pressures force me to choose one soccer podcast to listen to each week, this is my choice. The pundits have an unbelievable knowledge of teams across all levels of English football and, most importantly to me, seem to actually LIKE football. No cynical negativity here, thank you!

    Usual bias
The Canaries win away to open a gap for the first time at Boro, fabulous win against one of the toughest teams. It takes you lot 20 mins to barely mention it happened !

    Ian does a good job
Always a delightful hello in that previous podcast, becoming the captain of his own rogue podcast has worked out rather brilliantly. Unearthing some of that lower league narrative for international listeners such as myself. Keep it up!

    A balm
Almost a smooth as a Cornerstone razor's shave, the Totally Football League Show is the soothing balm you need on a Tuesday after work. Tune in and keep up with everything in the football league and hear from journalists and insiders about life outside the Premier League

    Reassuringly unpatronising
You can trust Iain Macintosh to make this relevant to us folk for whom the football league is our football supporting world - with none of the condescension normally associated with footy pods. So far it seems a professional, interesting and occasionally witty podcast - you should definitely try it out.

    Excellent
Just the right mix of reporting, tactics talk, and, storytelling.

    Off to a great start
You can tell this is Iain Macintosh’s passion project and it shows. The production is slick. Macintosh is a solid host. And given that I’m a Yank and a relatively recent convert to association football, the format of the show (especially the focus on club history) means I learn a lot just by listening. I’m excited to see where this one goes.

    Smooth as a good whiskey
Relaxed, enjoyable and totally easy to listen to. Look forward to more football stories
