Just listening without the benefit of video, I was given several gifts... I appreciated learning how Hoppen looks at a room (listen for yourself), her use of color, zoning a space, changing perspective from "me" design to design for the "client's" space. I appreciated the mental exercises that she was required to undergo in converting her vision to an app with the app developer. I was impressed by her openness to being copied. Impressive was her candor when faced with the reality of recent economic downturns. The discussion was in very human terms and not as a professional with a need for superiority... which had the effect of only underlining the true talent of a superior creative mind.
